And back to work we go!

And back to work we go!

Well, today has seen me back at work after a nice two weeks off with the family. It’s given me that time to recharge my batteries and get myself ready for what 2017 has in store for me.

I’m hoping that 2017 will be just as successful as 2016, as in the past year I’ve become a Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert (MIEE), Microsoft Surface Edu Expert, MIEE Master Trainer and offering consultancy work to many educators across the country via EasiPC and Microsoft.

As we are now a few days into 2017, I have set myself some new year resolutions. These are to blog more, be more socially active and to set up my own YouTube channel offering tips and advice to fellow educators. I’ve always found myself making excuses when it comes to writing a blog post and I have so many half-written blog entries that I never finish, so 2017 will be the year to turn that around.

Now the doors are now closed on 2016, it gives us the perfect time to reflect on whether it was a successful year for technology in education? I recently had an article featured in the Education Technology magazine where I give my views and opinions on 2016. This can be found here.
